It is modded and I think someone created it in a level design program or something like that. I read it took him 6 months to create. This version with the music is of someone else's creation I believe. There is a version with just the game sounds if I'm correct. I really don't know, the whole thing is just mind-boggling to me.

seems really intense for a project, I am sure its fun when you finish it and it works.

It's a good thing he spent a whole 6 months programming it, because it's certainly valuable enough to warrant spending 6 months of your life on. I mean, look at the ways you can use this program you can...... watch mario and.....

It's Super Mario World... the release game for the SNES, one of my all time favorite games, I have it on my PC too... you should play it some time

has to be fake. some program someone wrote. The hitting of the shells and coins and everything goes perfectly to the music....no way that's possible

Of course it's "fake" in that nintendo didn't make it, but there are "freeware" level design programs for Super Mario World, I haven't used any of them but yeah it's common place for people to make their own levels and such, it's very much possible if it took 6 months to sync up everything if you aim to do that

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was meant to go WITH the music, but the music was edited in afterwards, because I don't think you can add in custom music in the level-editor software, so basically the guy would be playing this music separately as he works on this syncing it up, makes you think he'd hate those songs after awhile :confused

I can't ID all the songs, but one sounds like a techno remix of the Rose Way theme from SMBRPG, one of them I know but can't remember for the life of me

I don't think the guy made a full-time job of it, re-assess how you may waste an hour or two a day and then get back to us about how this guy wasted time, besides in a lot of cases, patterns repeated, because if you think about it, the music is repetitive, so, once you'd nail the pattern for the "chorus" of one song, you could repeat it and switch out some of the props involved and get the same result

still pretty amazing. Impressive that it was done at 11 minutes. The music editing alone must of been a killer. I made a 5 minute movie for one of my classes and it was hell going through the scenes I can't imagine 11 minutes of that.

Yes, you are right. It was made with the song, but the orginal only had the music, no vocals. I got confused. Someone else added the song with the vocals to it. Thanks for clearing that up.

i said mario 3 japanese version as a joke, but i got it wrong anyway it was mario world. :banghead
