If the Mets win tonight, and we win as well, there will be a 3-way tie for 1st place.

This will probably be one of the only times in my life that I'm rooting for the Mets.

Well you know, if we could have won the day before yesterday, we would have entered yesterday in a 3 way tie, and we would be tied in 1st with the phills today. We were a half game back on Monday, and the phillies and mutts had the day off. A win would have set up a 3 team lead in the division. But for the past month, every time the team gets to a half game back, they lose; or at least it feels like it.

It is silly for us to root for either the Phillies or Mets one game at a time. Just don;t root for anybody, see what happens and hopefully come September we will still be in the race and then we can root for those teams to lose. For now we just need to focus on winning our games.

Not to mention we have a series against the Mets coming up soon and we can settle any score resulting from this series. (As well as other games we have against the Phillies)

screw NY and PHI go MARLINS!

One of them has to win, lol.

I am just saying screw them.... I rather NY win the next two and then we sweep NY, but as long as the marlins do their job who cares about the phils and mets.

I feel the same way, except I was born in Philly. The Marlins are still my #1 team, but if someone were to win the division besides them, I would like it to be the Phillies.

Exactly Marlins should worry about themselves before worrying about the Phils and Mets.

If our bats ever come around again, we will be set as we have had decent starting pitching and an excellent bullpen since the break.

1000!
