July 28, 200818 yr I'm doing some work for a local restaurant around here, which i also work for. The owner is having me do some design stuff such as business cards, flyers, reorganizing and adding/subtracting things to the menu, and as I am about to graduate from UCF with a degree in digital media, i'm wondering what to charge for something like this. should i do it per item, an hourly fee... what do you all suggest or do for yourselves? thanks

July 29, 200818 yr Per item is the way to go. Lots of time, we tend to under estimate a job and then we're screwed. Good luck!
