Question about reviewing plays

Featured Replies

OK so now that we've all seen todays homerun that was a foul ball, what happens once it gets reviewed by mlb officials.

Do the stats stay the same or what? i mean, it was a blatant foul ball, so does pinto get the hr allowed and victorino gets a hr for his stats, or what happens?

I believe everything stays the same. It was a judgement call, and although it was the wrong call it's been part of baseball.

With that being said, instant replay is a (must) on HR call's, I don't really want it taking over the game.

Well of course the stats stay the same. Its not like the 2 runs get erased once the officials notice it was an actual foul ball. Baseball is an old fashioned game, which can be good in some ways but bad in many other ways

sigh.. here we go with comments like these.

Of course the score will stay the same, who the hell knows maybe the phillies would have actually won if that homerun was overturned. I'm not talking about the score, Im talking about player stats.

Its bs if they do not erase that at bat for both players, pinto and victorino.
