Another great start by Willie Glen

Featured Replies

Willie Glen continues to toy with the kids in AA. Six innings, two hits, zero runs, five strikeouts.

ERA now down to 1.86. He only came out of the game to give Ryan Tucker some work. Jacob Marceaux plays a prank on Glen, has the PA operator play the Clint Eastwood "Gunslinger" theme whenever Glen strikes someone out.

Tucker pitches an inning, leaves. Goes to clubhouse, doesn't return, announcers baffled as Glen still watching the game on the bench. Says pitchers never do this...no mention of injury. Delgado replaces him.

May be something, may be nothing.

Wait...what?

Willie Glen is a nice story and everything...however, Ryan Tucker IS okay...right?

they (the announcers) haven't said another word about it. he pitched an inning and went directly to the clubhouse thats all I know.

My bad. Glen three hits. I thought the last one was an error on Maybin. Glen's second consecutive shut-out start.

Tucker scoreless inning.

Delgado brilliant in his inning.

Mobley finishes it out.

BTW, shutout and more importantly no walks.

It was a great game ! It's free to listen to on Milb.
