I would like to compare those numbers to the number of men LOB by Willingham and Hermida during the same period-like maybe minimum 3 more wins and in first place. I really wish I knew why the deal failed and who really was the reason-or was it just Loria at the last minute saying "I want money"? :mis2 To further this non topic......From what I understand the Pirates wanted more than we were willing to give. Local fans have just jumped on that $$$ issue because it fits their arguments against Loria and company. And I have never read anywhere that Manny would have okayed a trade here. Which I doubt he would. He demands attention. And the team with the worst attendance in the majors wouldn't be the place to get that.
