I sent the petition/guestbook to Pudge today

Here's what I wrote to Pudge in my email. Tell me what you guys think.

Dear "Pudge",

First of all, on behalf of your fans in MarlinsBaseball.Com, I want to thank you for your hard work with the Marlins in the 2003 season. Your leadership has gotten us to where we are today.

Second of all, congratulations on your first World Series win! We have been pulling for you all this time!

I have put together a guestbook for you. I got some fans together and they each posted something nice for you. We want you to stay here with us in Florida, but we know that if you must go, we'll be behind you 100%! (But we'd rather have you stay. ;) ) I hope you take a chance and read what everyone wrote to you. They all wrote very nice things about you. :)

Here is the link to that guestbook....

We love you Pudge! And please try to stay with us in the Florida Marlins!

One of your biggest fans in Miami,

I won't hate his guts. I mean, yea, I'd be upset, but it's not like I can do anything to change his mind. We'll see what happens.

It's kind of like Alonzo and Miami. No one wanted him to leave because if he stays we would contend and he'd help out the team A LOT. But if he leaves for the money, people will hate him.

the problem with zo was that he was essentially a pox on the team for all the years he was out with kidney trouble. surprisingly, he overcame his illness once he became a free agent, and then he hit the road. that's why zo is a jerk.
