April 5, 200917 yr Considering the bullpen situation here in FL, I think this is a guy that we can plug into our pen and he'd be great. He has shown in the past that he can pitch. Unfortunately, he's had a poor spring and was cut. Could be an opportunity to have this guy for the league minimum to bolster our pen. I really like this guy.
April 5, 200917 yr they also sent samardzija to AAA; i wonder why though, did he have a bad spring because samardzija was pretty good last season as a bullpen arm. as for gaudin he'd be great on a minor league deal because you can never have enough pen arms since we don't know how meyer, calero, and penn will fair.
