April 9, 200917 yr As I was posting in today's game thread after a big play, I was faced with the dreaded "Connection Interrupted" warning which happens whenever the boards explode cause of a big play, I began wondering. Perhaps....just perhaps....instead of creating game day threads for every game, can these boards be outfitted with a real-time chat room instead? No avatars and sigs using up bandwidth, just screen names. Keep in mind, these are just purely to replace game day threads. I just feel that it would maintain a much better flow to the conversation. So.....is it possible? And if so, would everyone else be for it? Just a thought.

You can always go back and see the reactions to Ani's No-Hitter, Cody's walkoff, Gonzo's walkoff, Beckett taging out Posada, and so much more.
April 9, 200917 yr What Rab said and... No avatars and sigs using up bandwidth, Sigs are already off in game threads.
April 9, 200917 yr Personally, I think there would be a lot more participation if there were a chat. The game threads are really slow and there are too many people posting at once, etc. etc. and I think people are turned off by that. I know you guys won't change it though so I'll shut up
