April 12, 200917 yr Trahern scattered 3 hits through 5 innings but tired. Walking 2 at the end of the 5th but was able to get out of the inning unscathed. They let him start the sixth inning and he got the leadoff batter to fly up but gave up 3 straight singles (scoring 1 run) Koronka came in relief of Trahern giving up a bunt base hit to load the bases. Then gave up a sinlge allowing the two inherited runners to score. In my opinion, should have pulled Dallas after the 5th. He was obviously tiring and they sent him back out. Instead of his line being 5 IP 3 H 0ER 3BB and 1 K a 0.00 ERA and a 5-0 lead he ends up 5.2 6 H (all singles) 3 ER 3 BB 2 K and a 4.76 ERA. He also picked off a runner Zephyrs lead 5-3 going to the 7th.

It means that you've told it like it is for the other pitcher's starts, but once Trahern starts...you begin making excuses. You didn't even tell us how many pitches he had after 5 to support your claim that he was tired.

Sounds like the first 5 innings was rather easy, and he was cruising. If that's the case, he shouldn't have been tired by the 6th inning.
April 13, 200917 yr Author I talked to Dallas last night and he wasnt tired. Again I said from the sound of it (listening to the radio broadcast) He said he actually threw some really good pitches during the two walks but that they were borderline and he just didnt get the calls. That's baseball. All in all it was a good start and as I said I believe Tucker and Sinkbeil will be just fine and this could be a really good pitching staff for the Zephrys. Daniel Barone goes tonight in Memphis if they can avoid a rainout.
