May 16, 200917 yr Football season is around the coner. What ratings did they give your team? Iowa Hawkeyes QB - 7 RB - 7 WR - 7 OL - 9 DL - 7 LB - 9 DB - 8 ST - 8 Can't wait!
May 16, 200917 yr Sorry but that site lost all credibility with me when they picked UM to be worse next season than last. They think Jacory Harris is gonna be a problem. It can't possibly be worse than playing musical QB's like they did last year. Nothing against Marve, but I'm glad he left so the team won't be using the 2 QB system anymore(although the new OC might've abandoned anyways.). The 2 QB system NEVER works and it was an insult to the QB tradition of UM to use it. No, Tebow and Leak from a few years ago doesn't count. Leak was was in for 80 or 90% of the plays so it wasn't a true 2 QB system. In the case of Marve and Harris, it was about 55/45. They also said UM's '09 recuiting class was 18th overall. That list is beyond subjective(even they admit that), but there's no way half the teams ahead of them had a better recruiting class, and since UM does most of it recruiting in-state, that automatically makes it a top 10 class. They have UF and FSU out of the top 10 (but ahead of UM) as well. Here's a link BTW which the OP forgot to post: http://cfn.scout.com Or maybe he just expected us to Google CFN(which I did).

Harris needs to improve his arm, his legs can only take him so far. In order to succed, he's going to need to be a complete dual-threat QB. The problem with the QB situation at Miami last year wasn't so much using two QBs per game, as it was using QB's on alternate drives, and sometimes even switching them out during drives. If they were to alternate QBs after quarters or after halftime, I don't think it would have been as much of a problem. Neither Marve or Harris could get in any type of rythm though staying in the game for only a short while. UM's recruiting class also took a huge hit when Brown switched over to the Vols. That dropped them big time in almost every ranking (Rivals, ESPN, etc.). And just because Miami gets mostly in-state kids, doesn't mean they're getting the elite players in the state, which means they won't always finish with a top 10 recruiting class.
May 16, 200917 yr Author Whoops... fogot to post a link! Was a little drinky last night Stanzi... remember the name!
May 18, 200917 yr If the MWC has another year like last, they need to get an automatic BCS bid. New Mexico has one of the toughest schedules in the country( @ Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Utah, TCU Vs. Tulsa, Air Force, BYU, Colorado State). While this is a rebuilding year, first year head coach Mike Locksley has some talent to work with. Sophmore HB James Wright is the next great UNM HB and he gets to run behind a dominating OL led by C Erick Cook(2nd Team MWC) and OT Byron Bell(CFN Freshman All-American). We've got a couple of very good players on defense this year in LB Clint McPeek(103 Tackles 1 INT), S Frankie Soloman(73 Tackles 1 INT) and S Ian Clark(57 Tackles 4.0 Sacks) but for the most part we're very young. I think Miami is going to have one of the best defenses in the country this year. Outside of the secondary it kind of reminds me of the late 90's/early 2000's UM defenses. Eric Moncur coming back from injury to team up with Allen Bailey up front. Colin McCarthy coming back from injury to join Sean Spence and Arthur Brown(hopefully) at the starting LB positions. I think this is the year Graig Cooper becomes one of the ACC's top running backs. I'm not expecting much from Baby J though. If Jacory improves from last year, I think we will be ALMOST back. I'm hoping for 7-9 wins. 2011 National Champions.
