May 23, 200917 yr i want to see how many will show up saturday that is when we get biggest crowds of homestand we going to see who real fans or fairweather fans but the way we playing i wont be supprise to see maybe 20,000 at the game maybe little higher
May 23, 200917 yr Yeah that crowds are way smaller in comparison to the few games we played in Miami in the beginning of the season, but you can you blame them? I would not pay to watch the team right now. Not because we are losing but the way in which we are losing these games. They are heartbreaking.
May 23, 200917 yr do you see crowds get more smaller at game? Yup, last year the average crowd height fell from 6' to 5' 11 5/8", and this year they've gotten ever smaller, "more smaller," if you will. The latest figures out of the Vertical Dimension Division of MLB's Office of Crowd Statistics say that we're now down to 5' 10 1/2", down over an inch in May alone. I think that a good part of the shocking shrinkage is due to the much larger "cringe factor" since mid-April as the crowd has had to react repeatedly to really poor play on the field. The crowd is simply burned out from all of that cringing, much like the bullpen. I hear that Loria's solution is to start offering free "Extenze" at the turnstiles to "enhance" the crowd a bit, as all of this smallness and shrinkage is getting embarrassing.

They are heartbreaking. yup. especially during these tough times where every penny counts. ownership doesnt want to spend their money on a top quality product, this is the result.
