whatever happens isn't going to be easy as you point out. Do you trade West (I hate using names for illustrative purposes, people take them too literally) for a Dunn and hope he doesn't turn the Nationals into yet another NL East contender (or whatever team you wind up trading with for a more consistent power bat), and trade Uggla and his $5 mil to offset the salary hit for prospects somewhere else and put Coghlan there, or do you trade Coghlan who just needs a couple of good weeks to increase his trade value significantly now that other teams can see how quickly he transitioned to a new position and his plate discipline is improving just as quickly, or Nolasco or RVH or both (if they both are healthy and impressive before the trade deadline)for more OBP. Ever see one of those three dimensional chess games, it's sort of like that. I've given up trying to figure out what the right and wrong answers are because there are no right or wrong answers. Ony guesses and hunches.
