Posted June 18, 200915 yr Iv been living overseas for a few years now. I spent most of my life on the west coast of Florida and im thinking of returning soon, but right now in the UK im secure, with job and healthcare. But there is no place like home, and I will return someday, but just asking what are things like In florida right now, is the job market getting better, do people have money to spend? Im a commercial pilot, And I was told that no flight schools are hiring flight instructors right now. When should things pick up there? b/c I really miss boating and my childhood hometown, but want to do it right.
June 19, 200915 yr All I know is my mom has worked in healthcare for 20+ years and has applied for 44 jobs here in the Tampa Bay area since our family moved back to Florida in December. She has not recieved one call for a job interview. Baycare has a hiring freeze right now from what we have heard. It may be better for others in a different field.

I don't believe that's true, but even if he was, he said himself that he has secure employment, something he wouldn't be assured if he came here.
