An OPS+ of 98 with a line of .267 / .368 / .370 / .738 is not "really really good" and it's not as good as what Ross and Uggla are.

 

If you asked me whether I would be happy with Uggla and Ross putting up those numbers the rest of the season I would say f*ck no.

 

Well, Uggla and Ross aren't leadoff hitters. .368 OBP is damn good, and so is the .388 OBP that he's been putting up since in the leadoff spot. Like I said, I have no problem you making the argument that we're overvaluing OBP over SLG, which I know is an argument you make a hell of a lot. But just because many here really like that he's being very good at not getting outs, that doesn't make us brainwashed.
