You guys bash Bonifacio and Hermida all day long and rightfully so, but Baker is also terrible and nobody says anything bad about him. The dude can't throw, can't block pitches, and can't hit for sh*t. How many times is he going to take strike 3 right down the middle of the f***in plate? I'm tired of seeing this bitch in our lineup when we have a better catcher sitting on our bench.

Paulino was a great acquisition. He's a baller and needs to be the everyday catcher (5 games a week). f*** that lefty/righty sh*t. He hit .300 in 327 at bats in 2006 against righties. He proved in Pittsburgh that he can put up very nice numbers when playing everyday. Baker has proven that he has no f***in clue at the plate.

Paulino's career OPS vs RHP- .647

Baker's career OPS vs RHP- .826

Epic Fail.

He does need to be more aggressive though because pitchers have gotten more aggressive with him. He has the most called third strikes in baseball and one of the lowest swing %'s (aka % of pitches he swings at). "More aggressive" is always something kinda eh to talk about, but I'm not saying he needs to go up there strait hacking. But pitchers have adjusted to him, now he needs to adjust to their adjustment
