June 30, 200917 yr Chicago Tribune - White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen says that his team's fans are much smarter than those of the rival, cross-town Cubs. Guillen was explaining why attendance at U.S. Cellular Field was greater when the Cubs where in town than when the Dodgers visited recently. "Because our fans are not stupid like Cubs fans," Guillen said. "They know we're [expletive]." Guillen added that fans will watch any game at Wrigley Field because the stadium "is just a bar." Does he have a point here?
June 30, 200917 yr He's right though. I've never seen fans that say there team is still gonna win the series when they are 10 games back with 1 day left in the series.
June 30, 200917 yr it's true and basically a shot at cubs fans after some wiseass cubs reporter was needling him ........ he plays the city dynamic pretty well
