Customized Jersey Question

Featured Replies

Hey guys, quick question... I've been thinking for a while of grabbing a personalized Fish jersey off MLB.com and I'm "this close" to doing so... but I have a question that would really make or break my order... please only answer if your 110% sure...

If I order the home pinstriped REPLICA jersey, will the lettering on the back be authentic (black with teal and white outlines) as shown in this pic... http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3424714 . That pic shows the proper lettering but since its a replica and not authentic jersey, I'm not sure how the lettering and number will be done.

The reason I ask, call me crazy but I absolutely hate Marlins jerseys with the wrong style of lettering. Usually I see it with the plain black letters (much like the Yankees use)... I refuse to buy one of those cause the "wrong" lettering just kills the look of the jersey to me. Here's an example... http://www.fansedge.com/Images/Product/41-51/41-51544-F.jpg

So before I order anything, I wanna know how the lettering will look on the home pinstripes... if not, I'll just buy the BP jerseys (http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3393290&cp=1452352.1452758.1511460) , cause those are just black and white and if they screw me with plain white lettering, it wont look as bad as with plain black letters on a home white jersey. Thanks a lot guys
