November 12, 200322 yr The Jaguars today claimed WR Kevin Johnson off waivers from the Browns and released JJ Stokes. Nice move by Del Rio/Harris- Johnson has shown he can get it done and the Jags can always use improvement at the WR position. There has been A LOT of turnover at that position since Del Rio took over. To think, when Smith was suspended, Hayes and Lockett were the projected starters, and neither made it out of camp. I like the Smith/Edwards/Johnson combo, but they need to use Brady more in the passing game too. Although, they usually need him as extra protection for the young offensive line.
November 13, 200322 yr why the heck did the Browns release him anyway? And this is a sweet move by my Jags. Stokes was a waste anyway, & they need someone else along with Jimmy & Troy. :thumbup
November 13, 200322 yr Browns ditched him because of bad character and no work ethic. Still a good pick up for the middle of the season.

November 13, 200322 yr Fitzgerald Cant Declare because he is a Sophmore. Unless he stayed out of school a Year. Theres also Gamble, Kevin Jones, Sean Taylor, Reggie and Roy Williams, Rashaun Woods. Theres plenty of great players (WR's most of it )
