March 2, 201016 yr I've wondered myself if the Marlins would take a chance on Gaby Hernandez, but we've seen a couple similar prospects shipped out one way or another (Yorman Bazardo, Jose Garcia although his case was injury) and the Marlins never grabbed them up again when they became available for essentially nothing. I think that by the time the Marlins ship a guy out they are usually having some doubts about them, and the players justify those doubts with their new teams. So I don't see them taking a chance on guys that they already deemed expendable.
