June 5, 201016 yr Luna is actually rather poor defensively. Barden is very good defensively, the best defensive IFer we have for the ML club. And his role is that of "defensive replacement" so his bat is of less importance. IMO we need to punt the whole "left handed bat" thing for the bench and just call up either Luna or Murphy to take Lamb's role. I mean, yeah, you'd PREFER to have that spot to a left handed batter. But you can't be so stubborn in the view point that you NEED a left handed batter that at the expense that it goes to a vastly worst hitter. Luna/Murphy would likely hit RHP better than Lamb is.
