  1. Billy butler can absolutely smash. Id take him in our lineup even with his bad defense at 1st
  2. He also went to the same high school as my sister. Which means he is probably a super scumbag, as most people who grow up in Port Orange tend to be. Except for my sister, of course. lol I grew up in Ormond, cuck freek
  3. could we trade Koehler for a hitter? I think Koehler can be a very good long relief guy for us. Especially compared to what he would get in a trade
  4. I would have no problem offering Jose a 10 year 175 million deal after this year Sounds like last years Stanton man crush thread
  5. Im not sold on that Jose Fernandez kid yet #SaidNoOneEver
  6. Well that seals it, now we know it isn't happening. Sigh See? In all seriousness, I think McCann will get better offers from already contending teams than what we put out there (if we even make one).Ill take AJ. Still a huge upgrade and would be a very solid 5/6 guy for us
  7. What good catcher have the Marlins acquired since Lo Duca? Baker is the only passable one they have acquired in almost a decade. In all fairness, all of the catchers since then have been pretty consistent.
  8. I really want 75% of the roster gone this offseason. Fixed it for you
  9. Koehler proving he is a future long reliever Hed be great in the role1. Fernandez 2. ? 3. Turner 4. Eovaldi 5. Alvarez? LR: Koehler Is my opinion on the future
  10. Koehler proving he is a future long reliever
  11. Hey at least he had the Baker/Paulino platoon going for a little....
  12. Just from watching him, it seems like he does lack a plan. If he gets up 2-0, it is almost as if he says, "OK, I am swinging at the next one" and he does, regardless of where the pitch is. 1- that is a plan, so not sure what you mean by that. 2- could it be that hes looking fastball and because this lineup sucks and he is a premiere hitter, pitchers pound him with off speed even when behind in the count? I'd say yes
  13. I can't believe the hate for Stanton. This is baseball. People go through slumps, especially at a young age. Most of it is mental as you can tell by the frustration in the dugout. Hes 23 years old and getting the best pitches every pitcher has to offer. Hes the one guy every guy knows they cant make a mistake too. Its a constant adjusting process and he will make the adjustments soon enough and keep hitting moon balls. Hell, he was about an inch away from hitting 2 of the farthest balls of the year in the pirates and mets series when he hit 2 of the highest pop ups I have ever seen. It is magnified this year because he is the only guy in the lineup that is really worth a damn right now.
  14. Marisnick doesn't look ready at all
