June 26, 201016 yr If Gaby can keep his play up and finish the season with something in the lines of .300/.380/.450 with about 20 HR 80 RBI and 85 runs scored he'll be considered but ultimately he doesn't stand a chance with big name guys like Heyward, Strasburg, and Garcia.
June 26, 201016 yr I think there is a decent chance that Gaby will be the best position player candidate. He could cool off, though. That's going to happen eventually. And Gaby is a +3 defender at first base. That's actually pretty respectable and should be thrown in the face of those accusing him of being a bad defender.
