Hammerhead
The Marlins, Brewers, Orioles, Phillies, Yankees, Dodgers and Red Sox watched Mark Prior pitch, according to Tom Krasovic of AOL FanHouse (Twitter link). The 29-year-old Prior is making a comeback. If the price is right, for the bullpen as a redemption project, sure, why not? For the rotation, hell to the no. EricWiener
Closer could be an excellent rehabilitation for his once-great career.
Erick
Closer could be an excellent rehabilitation for his once-great career. Isn't he like not even throwing 90mph these days?
Jags28
I'd take a shot at him. His stuff obviously isn't going to be anywhere near what we saw back in '03 but if he still has some decent breaking stuff and has enough difference in velocity he can still have some decent success, especially as a 7 or 8 inning man out of the pen. MrMarlinPride
Closer could be an excellent rehabilitation for his once-great career. Isn't he like not even throwing 90mph these days? Sources say he was consistently hitting 90 and topped out at 92. I wouldn't really matter if he still can control his slider, changeup, 2 seamer and power curveball. What matters to me is that when he was good, he was throwing a lot harder. And he wasn't any good when he wasn't throwing harder.
