Yankees to play 2 exhibition games at the New Ballpark

Smart by the Marlins. The exhibition games against the Yankees a couple years ago in the days before the season started got 30,000+ attendance. The ownership is basically squeezing out a couple more gameday revenues.

Don't you think they'd get that attendance w/o the Yankees? I certainly do. All this will do is push up the value/demand of the tickets and become a lot harder to get (due to all the Yankee fans wanting to show up). I think they easily could have gotten the attendance playing anyone. Wish they would have had the Yankees come earlier in the spring, though they probably wouldn't (can't remember the last time they made a east coast trip) if the stadium opening wasn't the case.
