November 27, 200322 yr I think when you non-tender a player you can not sign them back until May. What we could do is have Looper take a paycut from what he would make from arbitration by offering him a long-term deal.

I think if you don't offer your Free Agents arbitration by December 7th, you can't sign them until May. I think you can sign your non-tendered arbitration guys at any time after they're non-tendered; so can anybody else. Look at the names on that list from last year. Brad Fullmer was non-tendered by the Angels and he re-signed and played with Anaheim before May.
