MIAMI ? The Florida Marlins will offer fans four season ticket programs for the 2004 season with season ticket prices remaining unchanged from 2003. Marlins Vice President of Marketing Sean Flynn made the announcement.

Florida opens defense of its World Series title and 12th season of Major League Baseball on Tuesday, April 6th at Pro Player Stadium with a 1:05 pm contest with the Montreal Expos. The 2004 home schedule features visits by all 15 National League Clubs and three American League opponents: Chicago, Tampa Bay and Texas. For the fourth straight season the Marlins will play an unbalanced schedule, featuring three home series against NL East rivals New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Montreal. Florida will play its longest homestand of the year, 10 games over 11 days, from September 13th through September 23rd. The team will host the Montreal Expos, the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies. The home schedule also features dates on Memorial Day (May 26th) and the Fourth of July.

Marlins fans may choose from a Full Season Ticket Plan, 41-Game Plan, two 20-Game Plans or two Flex Plans to see the World Champions in 2004.

The Full Season Ticket Plan offers fans all 81 home games starting for as little as $324.00 per seat in the Fish Tank at Pro Player Stadium. The 2004 season marks the second season the organization will offer season tickets

in the Fish Tank. The Outfield Reserved will be offered for $607.50 and Terrace Box seats for $891.00. The 41-Game Plan starts as low as $164.00 in the Fish Tank and $307.50 for the Upper Deck and Outfield Reserved

seating. The 20-Game Saturday Plan features all 13 Saturday home games, Opening Day, five additional marquis games and the last game of the season with the 20-Game Sunday Plan offering the same great seat for all 13 Sunday home games and seven additional marquis games throughout the season. Each 20-game plan starts at just $80.00 for the Fish Tank or $150.00 for the Outfield Reserved. The Flex Plan consists of vouchers for a full season (81 games beginning at $324.00) or a half season (41 games beginning at $164.00). Marlins fans will be able to choose which games they would like to attend by redeeming a voucher or vouchers for a single ticket or multiple tickets to a game(s). Based on availability, fans may redeem all vouchers at the same time and receive the same seat for all games chosen. The Flex Plan allows a fan to bring a friend to a game, the

family or a group of friends to a game. Flex Plan tickets are not available in the Batter?s Box or Founders Field sections.

Fans will save money on every season ticket purchase option over the same single game option. The savings start at $162.00 dollars for a full-season plan in the Fish Tank to $567.00 in the Terrace Box to $2,430.00 in the

Founders Field.

Weeknight games during the 2004 season will start at 7:05 pm. The 13 home weekends will feature a 7:35 pm start on Fridays, a 6:05 pm start on Saturdays and a new 3:05 pm start time on Sundays. The new Sunday start

time was a direct result of feedback from Marlins fans. Fans are encouraged to send their feedback to the team at the following email address: ticketsales@flamarlins.com.

Thank God...... those Sunday games were Brutal...... i sent em feedback and asked for 4.05 dammmmmmmmmmmm

Woohoo they changed the start time of the Sunday games to 3:05 even though I wish they would have put it at 4:05 but its still better than 1:35.

That means more Sunday games for me. :cool

I sat in the Terrace Box once on Sunday afternoon last season. That was all I could take. From then on it was Club Seats for Sunday.

3:05 may be better....but I'm not sure that would be late enough to keep me out of the Club seats. I suppose the issue is giving visiting teams ample time to travel after the Sunday game?
