They would probably start Bogusevic before Johnson in that situation. But it would allow for Johnson to make the team.

 

BTW, I believe Ozuna drew three walks yesterday. For him that's progress, not struggle.

Or he's just consistently a really slow starter. I think he's got talent but he just needs to kick it into gear. He's pitching like he's working on things when he needs to be pitching like he's trying to earn a job.

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see Koehler and Slowey start the year in the rotation if Turner doesn't improve.

Slowey did great last year too. I was surprised he couldn't find a major league deal. Hey, our gain.

 

I have a strong feeling Slowey is taking someone's job, whether it's Turner in the rotation or Caminero in the bullpen.
