JMLinkinPark
ESPNews is reporting that the Blue Jays have agreed to terms with right-hander Miguel Batista. No word yet on the terms of the deal. If the report is true, the Blue Jays are probably finished acquiring starters. They'll enter next season with a rotation of Roy Halladay, Batista, Ted Lilly and Pat Hentgen, with Josh Towers the heavy favorite for the fifth spot. /Rotoworld Good Pickup... Beinfest4Prez
very good, they have done well replacing Escobar. I expect them to be a darkhorse for the AL Wild Card next year. Now if they can get a Delgado locked up for many years, they could become like the teams of the early 90's.
Wild Card
Damn. They are building up their pitching. Could the Blue Jays be thinking playoffs on '04?
SorianoFanHFW
The AL East is going to be very scary. Toronto is a very efficient team, I'm going to go to games up there this year. If they get some MR, or Ponson, watch out.
