April 22, 200323 yr *Alex Sanchez is a "Pierre clone" don't let him get on *G.Jenkins(Bret Farve look alike) is red hot and could cause some serious problems * J.Hammonds is vet. who has always hit the Marlins well * R.Sexson is another problem for the Marlins with his power to all fields * left-handed pitcher means HOLLANDSWORTH"less" SITS * Penny beat the Brew Crew last year but gave up 6 runs against them. Penny must last past the 6 inning at least. It would be great if he goes 7 or even 8 but 6 would be fine. *The marlins need to start fast and get into that bullpen(worst in the NL)
April 23, 200323 yr Ok let's see how they did: * Alex Sanchez is a "Pierre clone" don't let him get on - he went 3 for 5 * G.Jenkins(Bret Farve look alike) is red hot and could cause some serious problems - got an RBI double * J.Hammonds is vet. who has always hit the Marlins well - Hammonds is hurt * R.Sexson is another problem for the Marlins with his power to all fields - big RBI double * left-handed pitcher means HOLLANDSWORTH"less" SITS - he played tonight & actually had an RBI double! * Penny beat the Brew Crew last year but gave up 6 runs against them. Penny must last past the 6 inning at least. It would be great if he goes 7 or even 8 but 6 would be fine. - 7 strong innings by Penny. *The marlins need to start fast and get into that bullpen(worst in the NL) - Didn't start fast, but Penny kept them in it & they eventually won it off that bullpen.
April 23, 200323 yr Let's see how we do tonight. Glendon Rusch is 1-3 with an 8.57 ERA, but has had some success at Pro Player (I hate that name!): 2 and 1 with a 1.63 ERA. If we win tonight we will be at 500 again.
