I don't believe it isn't a conscience decision to play bad; it is just happening.  This team doesn't have any depth when players are hurt.  And for whatever reason (whether it's Hill, Loria, etc., etc.,) we haven't gotten a real upgrade through trade or waivers.  But at least they keep trying by bringing others in.  Yet it's like trying to catch lightning in a jar.  Just a small chance in getting anyone decent through waivers.
