Question about Season Tickets

Featured Replies

After finally convincing certain parents to let me go to the stadium every night and finally coming up with the cash, I'm getting ready to get season tickets with a friend. Since I'm leaving Miami mid-season, we're getting the 41-game flex plan (voucher tix). But, I have a question.

Does anyone know if this plan comes with free or discounted parking?

I am not sure, but you buy discounted parking passes as a season tix holder. Wait for juanky or 1truefan for the exact answer.

LOL Cape... Juanky is the person I'm getting season tix with.

What's the deal with transportation from Golden Glades Tri-Rail Station to the stadium? I know you're the transportation God, Cape.

The Golden Glades Tri-Rail Station to PPS for normal Marlins games (no park and ride) requires you take a bus and then transfer to route 27 which takes you to the stadium.

Search the forum for my thread on that around playoff time.

Call MDT, Tri-Rail and the Marlins and demand a route between the Golden Glades Station and PPS during every baseball game!

Yeah, a direct route would be the sweetest thing.

But it's not going to happen, especially with all the stadium talks.

Just remember to ask the bus driver what to do everytime you get on a bus and ask for transfer when boarding, not exiting.

What are the games you guys are going to? Hopefully this season, like in past season, they will run the weekend Park and ride for Marlins games.

The cost for transfer isn't a big deal. Juanky and I will have Metro-Passes which give free bus fares. ;)

Taking Tri-Rail would have cut some time, but now I think our best bet is to just take the Route 27 bus from the Coconut Grove Metro-Rail station straight to PPS. It's about a 1-hour bus ride, and I wouldn't be paying for anything except $5 a month for parking at the station.

Juanky- Sorry I haven't gotten back to you, but I can't do much since our offices are closed til Jan. 5

Ugh! We went to Marlins en Miami today to get the tickets, and they're closed until January 5. The same goes for PPS, and we don't want to order them by phone.

However, we did see Felo Ramirez in the store parking lot. He also thought it'd be open...

Felo Ramirez = Man. We actually looked to make sure for like 5 seconds. I was going to roll down my window to say hi, but he didn't look to pleased when no one was at the store so I decided against it.

Don't worry about Marisel, my bad for not planning ahead. We'll see when we go to get them in person, because it is A) More satisfying and B) I'm paying in cash.

I deserve a vacation you know.

Boo to price hikes

On the official site it also has more expensive walk up tickets (like 6 dollar fish tank).

Guys, the price hikes for walkup are to capitalize on bandwagoners.

Season Tix remained the same.
