A thread for things you think might happen with thr roster in Spring Training leading into opening day.

My two biggest are that Fulton breaks camp as a lefty in the pen and that Arquette has a great spring and they get aggressive and he is the opening day SS.

Following a morning workout, the clubhouse attendants will have just mopped the tile floor leading to the showers. Seeing the pristine, slick surface, Esteury Ruiz will decide to show off his speed skills.

He will challenge two other players to a "distance slide" competition wearing only their uniform socks.

On his final attempt, aiming for a course record, Ruiz will build up too much speed. He will successfully slide past the "finish line" (a line of tape on the floor) but fail to account for the breaking distance required. He will slide completely out of the locker room, through the open double doors, and collide rear-first with a cart full of protein shakes that is being wheeled in by a nutritionist.

Ruiz will be day to day.

You forgot the part where an attendant can be seen in the background carrying Ruiz' arm that was completely torn off his body while the announcement he will be day-to-day is made.
