March 16Mar 16 Author The DR had scored at least 3 runs in the first 3 innings of every game coming into tonight. Just 1 so far tonight, but USA needs to get a big hit. Severino has been electric.
March 16Mar 16 Author Julio Rodriguez hit by a pitch to load the bases with 2 outs and Austin Wells coming up. Massibe spot in a 1 run game. Byrce Turang botched a would be double play earlier that could have ended the inning. pitch limit is in play in this game.

Why didn't the Dominicans lose their minds? They're lack of a reaction made it really confusing.😕Shouldn't thay have had the ABS system in place? It's gonna be used this coming season in MLB. Right? So it's ready to go.Why did MLB go with an ABS challenge system instead of letting it call all the balls and strikes? Maybe they wanted to transition to a computerized strike zone slowly instead of jumping right in?

Doing so for the WBC would have necessitated measurements for players from all 20 countries in the tournament as well as the implementation of the system used to call it in Japan and Puerto Rico.
March 18Mar 18 Author USA tied in the 9th vs Venezuela in the Final. Harper just hit a game tying homer in the 8th. Now in the 9th Arraez walked and Javier Sanoja ran for him and stole 2nd. No outs.
