This road trip has been dissappointing, and this game is following how the road trip was going. We fall behind, cut it to a few, and then lose it in the end :banghead I really can't wait for Wade to be back.... Oh well, at least the 2004-2005 season is looking easy lol

The Heat need Wade thats why their losing plus it doesnt help that during their losing streak they have been playing on the road against western conference teams.

That's the suckiest thing to have one, if not, your best player out, you're on the road, and you have to play the West.

January 19, 200422 yr Author Yeah, 88-80 Final. The score looks close than it really was throughout the game IMO. I swear the Heat do not know how to finish, whether it's shots or games. I'm just glad this road trip is over. Home sweet home.

January 19, 200422 yr we definitely need a PG and a big man. Agreed. The Heat are a much improved team over last year, but they are still missing those components to really start making a run back to the top.
January 19, 200422 yr Author Yeah, I definitely agree with that. Dwyane Wade is just not the pure traditional PG we need. He is more of a 2-guard anyway and is more an offensive minded player. Rafer Alston I would definitely keep as a backup because he's a good off the bench guy and can come in and make 3's. Now for a big guy, :sighs: I mean who are we kidding with Brian Grant? I mean BG is just not a center. He doesn't dominate. Even if we are in the East, we still can't compete with players like Wallace, Ratcliff, O'Neal, Brown, Magloire, Illgauskas, Curry, etc. And I mean we still have to play every West team twice. That's why I would LOVE to get lucky in the draft for a 3rd time and get Emeka Okafor but I doubt we would anyway because we're most likely gonna finish better than teams like Magic, Wizards, Cavs, Suns, and Hawks. He would help us out so much, I mean he isn't a center either but he dominates and is a big force in the middle. But it's just another young guy. But I'd take what I can get.

Magic are the worst team in the NBA and i belive they will tank the season just to get the big man they need to go along with teh Mac man...... as 4 the heat i cant see them getting a draft in the top 5 this year lets alone top 10..... there going to playoffs 1-5 on teh road trip every game they played hard and fought tight games but they got teh short end the stick..... but thast without they #1 player...... and yes i still cant belive that Rilez gave my hornets Mashburn and Brown for Eddie Jones and A.Mason..... I'd love to have Okafor yeah but I do live in reality and know we're not gonna get him. We would have to be in the Top 3 Draft order while Charlotte holds down #4, which would be very unlikely. But I'm just saying, IF we could, I'd love to have him. It would be a tricky deal. A lot of teams are considering 'Sheed right now so we would be in a race with a couple of other teams that probably have more to offer and not huge contracts to take on. But Rasheed would really help us down here, I don't like him off the court at all, but he's good on the court and he's a big name. Riley and Stan will keep him in check.

January 19, 200422 yr Awwwwwe f*** that i dont like Wallace's game period but im willing to pay him 17 mil this year and let em be a free agent next year... the trade would work out cap space for the future.....
January 19, 200422 yr Author I just saw that Lamar actually puts up better numbers in every category except blocks (where 'Sheed avgs 1.31) and FG, FT % by a couple tenths. It really depends on the deal we give him but I would take him under most circumstances.
