Heat Hornets

Featured Replies

Heat up 33-21 5 minutes into 2nd quarter.

Heat shooting very good, too much turnovers though.

N.O. shooting too poorly.

49 -36 Heat in 3rd.

Very good execution by the Heat so far.

Baron isn't playing so that's an obvious advantage for us but they got Mash back so we still have him to worry about.

a few problems with the heat as of late: Poor free throwing, and turning it over too much, some of those because of attempted fastbreak outlet passes

We almost lost that lead. Wow this shows how tough we are. After being cut down to 5, we go on a 20-0 run.

Looks like we got this game locked up leading by 23 points with bout 2:30 left to play.

We held the hornets to a season low 70 points, 30 something percent shooting, and we shoot 45%. We've won 5 of our last 6.

94-70 Heat

Great win.

They're improving game by game. Their shooting has gotten a lot better too.

I hope we can continue this for the Pistons.

No were not, we are 1/2 a game behind the knicks and the celtics though. Celtics are on a 4 game skid, today lost 99-98 to pacers. Knicks won today 110-105, against the suns, if they woulda lost obviously we wouldve been tied with the knicks.

But yeah, Udonis has been great. He was a steal for us, who would have ever thought an undrafted rookie would be this great. He's a rebounding machine and is really getting his J working, also a nice post up player and power dunker. He really works hard, you can tell.

Anyway Udonis from what I've seen of him looks very good. I remember him as a (yuck) Gator and when they went to the Final Four with him...

The only way I really see that they're alike is boards and that mid-range jumper.

But Grant is a way better low-post defender while Haslem is a better offensive option in the paint. He has quick steps and is a pretty good post up player.
