How should a fan with no experience in Fantasy Baseball get started? Search engines show many opportunities, most geared to the experienced able to compete for "big prizes." Sporting News and Yahoo offer free deals of a less competitive nature.

Advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

hmmm

well just find out which league you want to join(Sporting News, ESPN, etc)

find out the rules on those leagues

and do your homework

A good free one to start out with is Yahoo. Most sites offer a free league and a pay league with prizes. I'd give it a season or two before throwing down any $ though. The free seasons give you an idea on the way scoring, strategy work and they're still really fun, even though if you win your league you just get your name at the top of the page....bastards.

I like the ESPN fantasy baseball as far as pay ones go. I played it last year and it was pretty cool. Except for the fact I didn't win.

I'd be down for a league of mb.com members. The football league didn't get enough attention from some members *cough*ramp*snore* but a baseball one would go over well.

Although the DBL season starts soon too...................
