February 10, 200422 yr but if dean ran against bush he would def. vote dean, he's just not an anybody but bush person.
February 10, 200422 yr Author I did wonder about his dean avatar. Personally, I am int he anyone but Bush camp because of the following reasons: -What I listed previously pertaining to lying, spending, and killing -His stance on social issues (anti-gay marriage, supreme court judges and abortion) -The idea that a democrat president will get the republican majority in congress to get their act together like after 1994 and before Bush, a balance of party power is good However, Bush's spending and war on iraq fiasco are enough to make me hate his guts forever
February 11, 200422 yr -The idea that a democrat president will get the republican majority in congress to get their act together like after 1994 and before Bush, a balance of party power is good that really shouldn't influence your voting decision. the GOP's margin of control in both the house and senate is razor-thin, and considering how much people hate bush, i wouldn't be surprised if the democrats had their highest turnout ever. republicans, on the other hand, are not as motivated to vote, and most republicans i know who support bush almost always have reservations. it's anybody's guess which party will be in power after this election. oh, and personally, i would probably vote for bush over kerry, yes. i listed you 12 reasons why people in general support bush (not why i would pick him), since you keep repeating how befuddled you are as to why anyone would want to vote for him and how all bush supporters are morons. personally, i'm not a kerry fan because everything i've read about him tells me he would probably be a big spender. i disagree with all candidates who want to repeal only a portion of the tax cuts since it's more an election ploy than anything and it's going to shift the tax burden (and influence tax policies for potentially decades) without taking care of the deficit. tax cuts for the middle class combined with tax hikes on the wealthy aren't going to help the economy, and they definitely won't help the unemployment problem. the biggest reason why i probably wouldn't vote for kerry or edwards is because of their bloc trial lawyer-friendly voting records and campaign support... it's not a big deal to most, but i'm going to graduate from medical school in 2 years and the f***ed up malpractice fiasco is going to play a huge role in my career decision and where i decide to train and settle down. i am by no means a "bush supporter", but i definitely don't think supporting bush over the democratic candidate makes anyone a moron in this election.
February 11, 200422 yr Author I'm voting libertarian because I hate both democrats and republicans. However, hating kerry or ect for being crooked lawyer types pales in comaprison with Bush's crooked needless killer/war type. I'm sorry, but attacking countries for no reason is way bigger problem than a president who wouldn't do a half assed measure to limit medical mal-practice suits. Furthermore, big spender in principal means nothing when you don't control congress. The republicans to, therefore it would be strategically better politically for the country to have a democrat as a president at this point, because the republicans will actually try to vote down his increased spending measures. Throughout history an opposing party to the one in power loves to talk about fiscal responsibility. Once they have the power to use the bureaucracy for their needs (like the republicans now) there's no incentive to cut spending and thye run away with it. That's why in order to cut spending you CAN'T vote bush.

That's why in order to cut spending you CAN'T vote bush. again, you're assuming the republican party will maintain control of the house and senate. if anything, the democrats will pick up seats in both houses because of the democratic turnout in this election. who will have control? that's anybody's guess.
February 11, 200422 yr Author That still isn't guarenteed either and I don't expect the democrats at the very least taking the house. Furthermore, I don't expect a huge spending rampage, especially because Bush has already done so much, they would actually have to tackle big issues like universal healthcare, which will not have enough support anyhow. Its a calculated gamble one must take. Furthermore we have to show the world we will not tolerate a leader that makes a fool of us.
February 11, 200422 yr I suppose you can't read what he called me. And you claim Bush supporters can't think and are not regular people. All this from an illegal immigrant. Actually I don't care whom wins, but I will vote for George W. Bush. This is just a mental exercise for me. hey mister! yu very malo! India Maria do not like you racissm! :thumbdown abajo los bastardos!
February 11, 200422 yr Lcyberlina, I'm sorry that there are some hateful people in this world. Do not listen to what that little a**hole told you. There are many Americans that are more intelligent and respectful of other's and their culture. abajo superdiablo! :thumbdown
February 11, 200422 yr well. After all that, i'm just going to assume SuperAngels got whacked with the ban-stick a few times, then took it home to sit on.

Criminals are criminals. I don't specify a particular source country. If illegal immigrants break the law to enter the U.S., what respect will they show to other laws? None. One of the 1st things Gov. Arnold Schwartzenegger did in California was repeal the law that gave illegal aliens the right to obtain a Cal. Driver's license. Hurray!

Hurray! i agree with you that the government should not be funding services for people who reside in this country illegally, and i think it's absurd just how many services california provides to illegal immigrants. not only is it a tremendous economic burden on every legal resident in the state, but it also encourages further illegal immigration. but that's beside the point... who said anything about anyone on this board being an illegal immigrant?
February 11, 200422 yr And just out of curiosity, where did you get the idea that I am an illegal immigrant? I guess you are part of the ignorant group of Americans that believe that all latinos came here illegaly and everyone who speaks Spanish is Mexican. I really don't care what you may think of me, but if you ever insult me again, you can expect swift consequences. If you can not handle the truth about Bush is not my problem. Grow up first, learn to debate without insulting others.
