Heckeroo
ok, we all know that these two teams are both undefeated, but i just saw a poll on espn where a majority (40%) of the people said neither of these teams will make it to the final four So, do you guys think they are really the two best teams in america, or are they only there because of their records against powderpuff opponents (most of the time, at least) i think that these are two of the top 5 teams in america, but not #1 and 2. And yes, at least one will make the final four, if not both
Das Texan
then whom is #1 and #
Heckeroo
right now, you can't say anyone but them but, if i were making a pole, i would say duke and oklahoma state *hears gasps*
Heckeroo
of course both teams can make a case for #1, but stanford's is much stronger as the had to beat arizona, whereas St. Joe's biggest test was Dayton, even though they only won by 2 today, Dayton is a better team han UMass but neither are #1. Duke is
miami15
i'd say the two best teams (not record wise) are Duke and Mississippi State. I would not want to play either of those teams. I would want to play St. Joes, though. The only ranked team they beat is a team that plays Pepperdine and San Diego St. every night.
Das Texan
St. Joe's also played and beat Gonzaga. Ok. State you could of made an arguement.....until they lost to Missouri. Duke lost two in a row. Duke WILL NOT win the NCAA Title this year.

TarHeel324
stanford will make it to the final four i think a lot of teams are underestimating st joes cuz of their schedule, but make no mistake: that team is good. real good

Even if they lost all 3 they would still have a good shot at getting in the tourney. I guess there is nothing to blow though if you are a mid level seed, so you can only go up from there. rferry
The #1 seeds: Duke (top seed), undefeateds, Kentucky/Mississippi State.
Mark3611
I agree w/ duke, stanford, st. joes, kentucky/msu. Whoever wins the sec tourney will determine the last #1 if both teams win the rest of their regular season games.

rferry
Nope. Not before the game either. And what an awful game it was, for both teams. I don't care if both teams play good defense, 30% shooting and a scores that can't break the 50 mark in overtime?! Fun little fact: There is only one team in all of the 14-member Big East that has more than half of their wins against average-to-great (RPI 1-100) teams, Providence. All the others packed up on cupcakes.
