White Sox= MLB's forgotten cursed team
LOL, good stategy. I'm a quick learner..... By the same token I am assuming you were being sarcastic in your comment about which Sox were superior? :mischief2

White Sox= MLB's forgotten cursed team
When teams go to the playoffs they are equal because its just them against another team, and they are equal in the fact that they both need to win the same amount of games. And the Sox dont have a chance. Dont even try and argue that they are better than the Yanks or Red Sox... Yeah, I guess you're right. They may as well just cancel the rest of the season and get right down to BoSox/Yanks because no one else has a prayer. Don't worry, from the little I have been reading I won't even try to argue with you. :banghead

White Sox= MLB's forgotten cursed team
good point, all teams are equal once they get into the playoffs but still i dont think the white sox will be able to go further even though they just have to beat each one of those teams in a small series. And you think this why, exactly? I thought the same thing about the Marlins last year.....OOPS! The Sox are missing a couple pieces, but they are aggressive at making moves and will plug the holes. They may not be able to win it all as the roster stands today, but they will be serious contenders come October. Count on it.

White Sox= MLB's forgotten cursed team
Well I guess people dont talk about it because they have a reason for the Cubs and Red Sox being cursed but they need to make something up for the White Sox. SEE: Black Sox Scandal Exactly. When was the last time they made the WS?Last World Series appearance 1959. The White Sox and their fans don't want to be known for their failures. They have more pride than that. No jinx, no curse. No excuses.

Help a brother out!
Yes, I posted this earlier and the Marlins will be the game according to NASN.com Sweet. Sorry for the redundant post. Feel free to delete it or combine it to avoid clutter. I don't spend too much time over here, guess I should have checked it out first. Thanks!

Help a brother out!
Hello Marlin faithful! I don't post here often but thought you guys might be willing to help one of our brethren overseas get to watch some White Sox/Marlins baseball this coming week. One of our brothers at Whitesoxinteractive has requested that we start a vote-in campaign so that he might get to watch Tuesday night's game. He lives in Ireland, thus doesn't get to see his beloved PaleHose very often. If you would be so kind as to give your support, it would be appreciated. Think of it as an opportunity to bring Marlins baseball to a worldwide audience (again!) As it stands right now, they are neck and neck with the Detroit/Philly game. Here is the link: http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbullet...ead.php?t=34925 Thanks again for your support, and best of luck in the upcoming series! :cool

Good Luck in 2004!
Good tidings from a lifelong Sox fan who considers Josh Beckett his favorite player after last season's incredible achievements. I was at game 5 of the NLCS and have to say that was one of the most dominant performances in postseason that I have ever witnessed--and Game 6 against the Yanks wasn't too shabby either! :notworthy Having spent several years in Miami, and with many relatives in the area, I consider the Marlins second in my heart to my beloved White Sox. Congrats on your second title and good luck this year.
