If this is the way I'm reading it the Hill extension has absolutely nothing to do with the players or the fans. Simple, you just getting rid of players (people that produce) to cut payroll, on the other hand giving more than generous salary extensions to executives that are at best mediocre and do not produce on the field........

Yeah, but with other's people money...and to the expense of the players that he'll ship out......total disregard for the fans....

I don't understand, Loria wants to "lower" payroll by getting rid of players, but yet he gives outrageous salary extensions to executives that have nothing to show for ?, If he sells the team for an excess of a billion dollars, Why can he give these "executives" a severance package out of that money ?, Please leave the LEAVE THE PRODUCERS (PLAYERS) ALONE !!!!!!

No, I watch till the time that our either pitcher or reliever gives up whatever amount of runs to tie the game, then I'm going to sleep, confident that we'll be good for an "L" the next day. Why am I going to wake up sleepy at 4:00 AM to go to work for watching a Marlins game that I already know how it ends?
