4/11 Marlins @ Mets
ESPN guys actually bring up a good point - there's a lot of career hits in the Marlins dugout with Bonds, Mattingly, Ichiro, Lenny Harris, and Menechino

4/11 Marlins @ Mets
Eight innings later they haven't figured out that Stanton wears the guard against righties, but not against lefties

4/11 Marlins @ Mets
I would estimate that the espn guys have spent a cumulative hour talking about Bonds through the course of this game. In a 10-3 game though, I shouldn't be surprised.

Ozuna Update
M's trade Elias as part of the Miley trade. Good for the Marlins so we're not underwhelmed with an Ozuna-Elias trade. Injury prone or not, I'd still hold out for Walker or Paxton from the M's.

I'd make the trade again too. Disco didn't show much during his limited time with the big league Marlins.

Trades - We Be Sellin'
I live on the West Coast so unfortunately I've been force fed a bunch of Giant games. Never liked Morse's game. He's got a shrewd agent who parlayed a mediocre season (and a boatload of K's) into a big contract on the strength of his WS heroics. Just two years ago (the year before his contract year), he put up similar numbers as this year. We had the same player in Garrett Jones just last year at a fraction of the cost.

Trades - We Be Sellin'
The problem started when they signed Morse. Anyone with half a brain knew that was a bad signing. This front office has signed Salty and Morse to horrible contracts. Are they just signing retreads with South Florida roots to get people to go to games or get people interested in the team? Reinvesting is one thing, reinvesting in smart acquisitions is another.

Tulo to Jays
The initial word is no money is changing hands. The Jays are on the hook for Tulo's contract.
