Definitely LHPs would be scared when they faced Jays' hitters. Just concerned about TT's injury prone and an artificial turf. 

 

If this trade is official, TT will get full no-trade clause.

The initial word is no money is changing hands. The Jays are on the hook for Tulo's contract.

 

 

Surprising move. No money exchanged. Reyes was sent to alleviate the money concerns for Toronto. I'm shocked Colorado took Reyes though, what an underwhelming return for such a franchise player.

 

 

They'll most likely spin Reyes off now for additional prospects.  Think of this like when the fish received Piazza, it was necessary due to position and money.

 

 

I like it for the Rockies and Jays.  Jays get an upgrade at SS and their offense is ridiculous.  The Rockies desperately need pitching and they got a guy who could have been the first overall pick a few years ago.  They need to trade Cargo for some great young pitching as well.

 

 

Reyes is still serviceable but not for that amount of money. Curious to know who would take on that contract now with the Rockies flipping it. Yankees as a dark horse?

I could see the Dodgers eating Jimmy Rollins contract to take on Reyes.  Thats my opinion based on not having seen how rollins has been doing for the past month.

 

 

Who would take on Reyes with all that money left? Looking at it now I can't believe the Marlins agreed to all that money to begin with .

Dodgers have one of the top prospects in baseball, Corey Seager, waiting to take over at SS when Rollins is gone. They won't extend that time frame by adding Reyes.
