One thing I noticed that I thought was cool was the baseball tonight set and sportscenter sets directly face each other with the cameras in the middle. Theyre like looking straight at each other. Yeah I saw that too I didn't know they were so close together.

Hell of a performance. Coming into the 6-game stretch with Phillies and Diamondbacks this game worried me the most, and Penny went out there and pitched a hell of a game.

how soon will we get Drew do you think? 8-12 hrs? and who would we give up? according to ed the only big time prospect we would give up is levinski. Then probably throwin 2 other prospects. Abe Nunez, Neal or Wayne. i see i wouldnt want to give up Abe Nunez :confused last time i checked i thought he was crushing the ball Abe Nunez isn't young anymore. I'm a fan of him too, but he's not getting any younger.

Also, the way Lowell is running lately, he could use an off day every now and then. Play Cabs at third and Drew in left. Plus, Juan E. has been struggling, give him a day off as well. There would be plenty of AB's to go around. Bring on JD!!! yea when you think of it like that its true but i hope drew doesnt come in here demanding playing time. because encar and pierre are a lock in the outfield. in my mind i think cabs should be a lock too, but lots of you think otherwise. drew of the bench would be awesome so yea i guess bring drew but i would rather get arms in the pen Drew doesn't play every day for the Cardinals anyways I think he'll be fine sharing time.

Hey if we get Drew, what do you guys think of having like a rotation of Cabrera, Drew and Encarnacion at Left and Right Field. They would all get playing time and we wouldn't have to send Cabrera's dangerous bat down.

I would do this trade in a heartbeat. None of these player are top-notch prospects except perhaps Levinski, but he's at best our third best pitcher on the farm behind Bautista and Hutchinson. To get Drew without giving up Stokes, Bautista, Willingham, or Hutchinson would be a steal. I agree 100%. If we don't have to give up Castillo, then there isn't a huge risk in this deal. Even though I love the way Cabs is playing Drew could be our LF of the future and Cabs can move to 1b or RF next year. Also Drew has playoff experience and is the big Left handed bat we need so he can help us now.

Although Drew gets injured too much when he is healthy he is very dangerous. I've followed the Cardinals fairly closely for the past couple of years and if he is able to stay healthy he could be very good. That's a very interesting trade.

Believe me, if the Marlins could send Castro to AAA, of course they would. Hes out of options. If we wanted to send him to the minors, hed have to pass through waivers and some team would take him. oh I didn't know. That sucks.

One thing about trading Castro is that we wouldnt have to carry three catchers anymore and we could have an extra arm in the bullpen, which could be Sullivan. So, we could have a 7-man bullpen with Looper, Sullivan, Uggie, Bump, Tejera, Phelps, and Almanza. Replace one of the lefties with Spooney in a couple weeks. I don't think we should trade Castro but I've always thought that we should send Castro to AAA and bring in another reliever just to give Castro more playing time.

You have to think that the front office is rethinking this because of Cabs production so I wouldn't be too worried.

will we need alefty specialist with Sully? Sully/Spooney Sully/Sponey/Uggy Looper not needed but it would be a luxury, to have a guy that will be in for just 1 batter to get out the other teams best left-handed hitter.
