Bump must be dumped
He's got better ERAs than the majority of the pen. Not much else you can do. "$h!t happens" 790918 Yeah and ERA's tell the whole story.

Bump must be dumped
He has been very solid for us this year in the pen. He's hardly blown any leads. 790871 You watching the games?

Bump must be dumped
I'm sorry but this guy stinks. He has become my whipping boy on the Marlins. Whether or not it's his fault when we lose, IT'S HIS FAULT. I'm so tired of watching him blow leads. Yeah I know I may be overreacting a little but he never fails to disappoint me. He has to go.

Luis and Seabass: Poetry in motion. Any better?
They do make such a huge difference for this team, it's great to watch them play best double play combo in baseball. 745678 That inning could've really gotten ugly for AJ and that double play stymied what looked like coulda be a big inning for the Mets.

Luis and Seabass: Poetry in motion. Any better?
After that last douple play (their 301st), I had to ask, does anyone in the game right now turn it quicker than Seabass? I mean he does it all in one fluid motion as does Luis. It's beautiful to watch and a pitchers best friend. Any Marlins pitcher that wins 20 games this year should buy tose two guys Rolexes. Much the same way a RB does it for their OL.

Lineup changes TODAY!!!
another one, what is the effect of Delgado batting 3rd and the whole defense switching if one of the rabbits are on the bases? 745320 I think thats part of the reason the changes were made. Give more RBI opportunities.

No need to panic
It IS VERY early in the season to be panicking. When the dog days of summer come, the cream usually rises to the top and I hope we're one of those teams. NO reason why we shouldn't be. If we get pitching like this all season, we're going to win a lot of games.

Lineup changes TODAY!!!
Heard on the radio: Pierre Castillo Delgado Cabrera Encarnacion Lowell LoDuca Gonzalez Burnett Something needed to be done and hopefully these changes will kickstart some offense.

Tonight's rant thread
Cabs needs to go back to RF. Why he's in left is beyond me. Yeah I know you want the outfield with the strongest arm in right, but Miguel looks lost. This team need to get back to playing sound, fundemantal baseball. Right now that is sorely lacking in very disappointing to watch!!! :mad

A few changes I'd like to see....
8th inning...yet another Lowell popup.? Someone needs to get in his head and get him back to taking the ball the other way when its low and/or outside.... 738632 This lack of hitting and lack of discipline at the plate is starting to be pretty alarming. No way should this team be struggling to score runs like they are. I know it's early and I know we've had two 9-run games but those 18 runs have all come in the span of like 4 innings. That is not Marlins baseball. I've never been one to bash Bill Robinson, but something's gotta be done or changes need to be made. The season is barely a week old and I've alread broken one cell phone and one remote.

Only negative about yesterday....
Waltz will get better. How can you fall asleep watching a Marlins game. Besides Tommy is there and he is the S***. But in a few weeks everyone will like Waltz. 730616 Thats the same question I asked myself. I put the radio on, but since I have satellite the delay sucked. Waltz was putting me to sleep. I know I'm being harsh and it's only one game. I just hope he grows on me.

Only negative about yesterday....
BTW..Joe Angel is with the Orioles.

Only negative about yesterday....
The negatives might have been maybe Seabass's lack of hitting or Mota's shaky inning...but neither was a serious issue (yet). 730596 I can deal with Seabass's lack of hitting. I'm used to it by now. He's as streaky as a 6 year old boy's underwear. His glove though, is another story. And yeah..I would have liked to see Mota get them 1, 2, 3, but it's early.

Only negative about yesterday....
Wheres Jo Angel? 730592 I think he's working for the Giants. Correct me if I'm wrong. What I do know though is that the break up with the Marlins was not amicable.

Only negative about yesterday....
I didn't hear Waltz yesterday cause I was at the game but during ST I didn't really see any problem with him. He improved each broadcast. Also, as for Len Kasper I'm pretty sure he left because the Cubs have a national audience and it was a fantastic career move. Marlins couldn't offer that. 730588 I dont doubt that he can do better than yesterday. But yesterday was the first time I have almost fallen asleep during a Marlins game. Just when Len had grown on me, he's gone. What went down with Boog? Any idea?
