  1. Marlins hire Rick Kranitz as pitching coach

grizzfan44 replied to Accord's topic in Miami Marlins
I can assure you that Kranitz is as pumped as ever about taking on this job and doing as good of a job as anyone out there will. Admin Rothschild has nothing but good things to say about his coaching abilities and the job he did with AAA Iowa last year. Van Buren was the Minor League Relief Pitcher of the year and credits all of his success to Kranitz....Let's give this guy a warm welcome and not start dogging him quite yet.

  2. Lots of news out there this morning

grizzfan44 replied to Marlins2003's topic in Miami Marlins
Kranitz is a great guy and will bring a great new look to the team. He has been lurking in the Cubs organization for quite some time now and is a solid coach with a good head on his shoulders. Admin Rothschild was very happy with the job Kranitz did at the AAA level and this is a much deserved shot in the big leagues.

  3. Girardi and Fish at odds over pitching coach

Rick Kranitz will be the new pitching coach. He comes from AAA Iowa and brings a fresh mind to the team.
