  1. and yet we lose another game because of stupid, bush leauge errors. What a disgusting game. ugh
  2. I thought you were going to suggest something much more serious, more violent, and definitely illegal. not that the thought hasn't entered my head. :mischief2
  3. In my humble opinion, I think Major League baseball should intercede with the Marlins and Jeffrey Loria, just as they did in 2002. This time, orchestrate his sale of the team to the owner of Telemundo (sorry, forgot his name), and sell the Nationals back to Loria. Unlike when he owned them as the Expos, they're in a new city and are getting a stadium built for them. This way, Loria gets what he wants, a stadium and a team in a city with a growing fanbase. Also, I get what I want, a better owner who will put up the extra money needed for our stadium. Plus, I would just like to see Loria gone.
  4. Matt, there's rumors floating around that Howard David might actually make a comeback in South Florida. Good luck to him for your sake. lol oh lol, i don't care, i mean, he was knowledgeable, i'll put it this way i woudln't listen to qam from 10-2 after 2 i would put it on i'd be happy if goldie got the slot, he's a pleasure to listen to. To be honest, I like Steve "geldy" Golstein too. They've been putting him as a fill in for the 2-4 slot a bunch of times lately. However, how can you not like Neil? he's so funny.
  5. man, poor Ken Griffey. If he would have stayed healthy, he could have broken the Home Run record.

  7. In the words of the manager from "Major League": "We won today, we also won yesterday. If we win tommorow, it's called a WINNING STREAK. It has happened before. "
  8. wow, that wimp backed out and didn't do the show. Typical

  10. Saved By the Bell was a good show, but its definetely not Adult Swim material.
  11. yes this topic is pretty bad. I just felt like ripping on them a little cause i was steamed about watching yet another loss. Don't worry, I'm still a big fan and my loyalty shall not waver.
  12. David Samson is going to be on QAM tommorow morning from 7 to 10 AM. That is according to an announcement on QAM I have heard throughout the week. He is going to be filling in the time slot of Hank "the Hammer" Goldberg. I say we all call in and blast him for what a coneiving weasel he has been. I know I'm going to call and give him what's coming to him.
  13. no but im having my milk break ... than comes nap time simply tired of stupid negative crap ... this is going to be a loooooong season with lots of little kids bitching all day long Dude, don't give me crap about being "a little kid bitching". My family and I have been season ticket holders since 1994. I've supported this team through the good and the bad. (and there's alot more bad than good to be honest). However, I love the team and the game. I don't need a winning team to enjoy the game. I will always be a fish fan. I just resent the way our owner is treating us. He thinks he can piss and moan and bring this team down to get what he wants. I think he's being a jerk. Out of all the years of Marlins baseball you missed you missed the 93 season? Next to the 97 and 03 seasons, that was the best one. I didn't miss the 93 season. I just didn't become a season ticket holder until 1994.
  14. dude ... go bury yourself in the woods marlins line ... thats the most stupid thing ive heard in my life. have you even checked out other teams to see how many other players have the same line? Jeez, The guy is just joking around if you don't have a little humor it's gonna be a long year. here here! humor is about the only thing that will get us through this season. that and Hanley Ramirez.

  16. lol, I believe they can bounce back too, especially jacobs. Just making a joke.
  17. another pointless thread and im helping it by posting d'oh If you don't like it than just don't read it.
  18. It's Mario Mendoza. He was a career bad hitter. He constantly hit around .200, and Sports Illustrated once did a story about him. After that article, the "mendoza line" became a popular term for a .200 batting average. It's the breaking point between average to bad hitters and just plain horrible hitters.
  19. With 3 of our starters, (Abercrombie, Jacobs, and Olivo), well 4 if you count Eric Reed, hitting under .200, they should start calling the Mendoza line the Marlins line. I still love this team, but this hurts.
  20. wow, I guess nobody agrees with me. lol
  21. I think what Jeffrey Loria is doing to this team is dispicable. He wants a stadium deal so badly that he is willing to drag this team down to the bottom until he gets what he wants. He reminds me of the Red head owner of the Indians from Major League. He has no loyalty to us fans, who have been quite loyal to a team that continues to piss all over us every couple of years. Don't worry, I will still attend my 40+ games this season and I will still continue to be an ardant supporter. I think Hanley Ramirez shows a lot of promise, and Josh Willingham could mature into a great hitter. But, still, I am very mad at Jeffrey Loria. My best case scenario involves him selling the team. Seriously, we should put out a personal add: "Are you rich? Do you love baseball? Are you not a selfish jerk who abandons those who stands behind him? Than you're what we're looking for!". Ugh, I'm too disgusted to go on. Down with Loria.
  22. how many post do I need before I am no longer a "guppie"?
  23. His support of the Marlins is good and all, but Hank "the humper" Goldberg can be a real moron. I think one random caller put it best when Hank was talking about overrated players on the Dolphins when he said: "You wanna talk about overrated? the only overrated guy here is you, cause you suck!". Hank can be entertaining at times, but he's also boring and talks about horse racing too much. He also turns into the biggest jerk whenever a caller disagrees with him. he doesn't just tell his side, he yells at you and hangs up on you. However, I do like his crossover segments with Neil Rogers in the mornings. Overall, I give hank a 5 out of 10.
  24. come on John, can you teach me how to Doy?
  25. wow, what a great clip. that is funny. and i give the Dan Patrick credit for his quick response.
