The more I think about these deals today especially this trade with the Mets, Vargas probably needed a change of place and Bostick never impressed me. I hope the team is far from finished with dealing especially with CF still needing a replacement. Also regarding the Mets seriously WTF are they trying to rebuild the Marlins or what with the signing of Alou and Easley what do they have like 10 former Marlins. Good Point...From the Mets Current 40 man roster, I count 7.... Bostick Vargas Ramon Castro Paul LoDuca Carlos Delgado Damion Easley Moises Alou Did I miss anyone?

Anyone else out there think Sheffield is a pretty attractive option for the Marlins? He only has a 1yr deal for 13M...He's publicly stated he wouldnt be happy anywhere but the Yanks...but he has also said that his time w/the Fish was one of the best times in his career...it would put a few butts in the seats, provide some protection for Miggy and might only cost us 2 mid-level pitching prospects...plus if somehow the team tanks next year, we could move him at the trade deadline to a contender...any thoughts????

I'm hoping they'll assign Sinkbeil to Jamestown...I live in Jamestown and have had the opportunity to see a few prospects work their way up the organization...although they changed the logo and team colors this year...its now a bunch of grapes wearing a baseball hat..yeah...you heard that right..A BUNCH OF GRAPES?!?!?!?!?
