Wow, that Brett Myers sure is horrible. Almost as bad as Scott Olsen. Seriously, every team has at least 1 idiot like this.

I'm sure you all do go to the games, and I never said that you didn't. I said that you can't complain about visiting fans when you have 10,000 showing up at Marlins games. How is stating the truth about Marlins attendance being a troll? Am I missing something? I didn't say one thing that should be found insulting.

If you think Phillies fans are annoying, you should go see the Marlins play the Mets. Phils fans barely scratch the surface. If you don't want visiting fans to show up, then maybe Marlins fans should start showing up.

I completely understand hating the teams in your division, and even though I am a huge Eagles fan, I understand anyone's hate for them, but it comes as a surprise to me that Marlins fans would not dislike, but HATE the Phillies. It's like Phillies fans hating the Nationals or something like that.

I still don't get it. Anyway, why does Olsen hate the Phillies so much? "i HATE pat burrel.. he just pisses me off" You sound like a Phils fan. The only person in Philly that is probably hated more than Burrell is Terrell Owens.

"It's more of a general dislike for Philadelphia teams by every fan of every sport." And what would be the reason for that? Philadelphia is the only city with teams from the 4 professional major sports who haven't won a championship in over 20 years. What's to hate? I hate teams either because of the geographical rivalry, historical rivalry, or just because they have plenty of championships.

I mean, I'm a huge Phillies fan from NJ, but this team has been pathetic since 1993, with the exception of the past few seasons. Even recently, there really hasn't been anything unlikeable about them. Wouldn't you guys hate the Braves or the Mets more? I know Phillies fans hate the Braves and Mets much more than the Marlins.

My theory is it's the effect of the miserable booing fans all season long in Philly" I think any fanbase in their right mind would boo at some point when their team hasn't made the playoffs in 13 years. And by the way, averaging 35,000 fans a game would help a team a lot more than having 14,000.

How can you say things will go back to normal?? What is normal? the Phillies (along with the Marlins) have a very bright future with Hamels, Howard, Utley, Rollins, Rowand, etc, and if they don't make the playoffs this year, could very well be there next year. Go Phils!!!

Everyone hates the teams in their division. Just a normal thing. How can anyone hate the Fish? :hat It was easy for us to hate the Marlins in 03- they ended our season and won the WS The Phils just haven't won anything yet.
