5/25 Florida Marlins @ Philadelphia Phillies
Oh Ryan Howard... WE once had a young player who could hit them like that, and right now is pretty darn good at 1st... His name was Cabrera. Now we have Bonifraudio... I HATE LORIA! Seriously, get over it. Go see what Cabrera is doing over in Detroit, and tell me to get over it... NEVER! What he's doing in Detroit is irrelevant to what the Marlins are doing right now. Please go back to wherever you came from. Oh shut up you put him in the middle of this line up right now, and were talking about a totally different team out there... And I can't go back cus cuba is a communist country! I'm not a communist...

wow he was safe!!! Big time! Where is our manager to fight for his player? Fredi sucks.... This is why he sucks right here.. He should go out there, and argue, and get thrown out! Light a fire under his team. Instead all he does is this crap!

Don't trade Uggla or Cantu!
It's simple what some of the problems are, and it's not by trading away your 2nd best hitter, and a two time all star who is known to be a slow starter, and who looks like he's coming around with the bat. You simply need to correct this line up, and if Fredi can't put together a good line up with the players he has then he needs to go... In fact I think Fredi needs to go period. Either way you can't expect to get better if you keep giving away your good hitters for CRAP like Maybin, and Miller... You need to keep your good players, and build around them. First get rid of Bonifacio, and put Coghlan at 3rd, and bring up De Aza to play CF, and lead off. Bonifacio is costing you games with his bad play.... I think it's clear I mean you can read from EVERYONE pretty much on these forums who are asking for his demotion. It's funny how the fans see the problems right away but the people who run the team sit back with a thumb up their rear! Bonifacio is a liability over at 3rd, and he's the worst 3b in baseball! You need a power hitter in this line up to complete the line up! To help protect the guys you got now, and he isn't it... You had him but let him go in spring. Now it's time to shuffle things around, and let Coghlan prove himself over at 3b... Lets face it Dominguez is going to take longer then expected.

Emilio Bonifacio benched
Let's pray Helms goes 4-4 with a couple of homers or something like that. Maybe means Boner would be on the bench again tomorrow... That would be awesome!

Miami Herald: Loria wants changes?
I think Uggla's slump is similar to what happened to Lowell his last year here where he just stunk up the place, and we unloaded him to Boston. I think Uggla, and Lowell saw the writting on the wall from Spring especially since Lowell that year was entering his new contracts big salary year, and as we know Uggla won arbitration this year giving him a 5million plus contract which if he has a good year will go up, and the fish aint going to pay him since our owners are cheap skates. I think this slump is psychological, and once he's in a place with some stubility I think we will see Uggla have a solid turn around... Sadly I do think he will be gone soon to either the Giants or some other team which needs a slugger in their line up.

Emilio Bonifacio benched
it's about time....this guy sucks as a lead off hitter...........he sucks at third base as well... So does Helms. Old and overpaid. Yeah but Helms has good range at 3rd, and he is a clutch hitter who produces runs, and hits well against leftys... Bonifacio just sucks, and can't play in the majors. I hope this benching is not a day off, and something permanent...

Hate for Bonifacio/Love for Uggla and Coghlan
Bonifraudio does nothing but strike out, get thrown out while looking lost standing at first, and boot balls at 3b. (Thought he was supposed to be a defensive upgrade? LIES!!) If he does nothing but strike out, how the hell does he get thrown out at first as by your logic, he'd never get there??? Proves my point, really. Obviously i know he gets a HIT here, and there and sometimes does walk!!! Shocking I know but when he does make it to first he looks lost out there which is why i said "get thrown out while looking lost standing at first," the few hits he does get he ends up messing them up.... He should have 25 steals by now as fast as he is! He's been terrible as a leadoff man. The guys a joke... He doesn't belong in the majors. he is an adequate fringe player for a team in eternal rebuilding mode. he is never going to be a star, and whoever though that was the case with his torrid start, was fooling themselves. I'm seeing some improvement, but I don't think he belongs (or may ever) in the lead off spot regardless. he does belongs in the majors, he is probably a bench player on an average team. Speed and good defense are good asset for the bench. he just happens to play on a bad team at the moment. Yeah but he's one of the main reasons why the team is bad! Along with a shady bullpen, and a starting rotation that is still trying to figure out who's who. But his bad play has cost us games, and his bad play will continue to cost us games if he's not benched or demoted. The guy simply isn't a major leaguer, and you can't tell me that this team isn't better with him not starting! This line up here would be much improved over what we have now... CF - De Aza LF - Hermida SS - Ramirez 1B - Cantu 2b - Uggla RF - Ross 3B - Coghlan C - Baker P - Baker should hit 8th because he's a good hitter, and he would make pitchers pitch to Coghlan more fast balls which he can drive, and drive in runs, and hitting infront of the pitcher being a patient hitter he will walk a lot, and I think Baker is the best suited for this role. He is an excellent contact hitter who's very patient at the plate, and thats what you need as an 8th hitter, and that's one thing we lacked with Maybin, and one thing we still lack with playing a rookie like Coghlan at number 8 is a mistake. Bonifacio is best served either on the bench or in the minors that guys hurting us almost on a daily basis... He has terrible range cus to him being so short so a lot of balls get by him that even Cabrera at his fatest would get to! He has a weak arm, and can't throw people out for the most part, and while he's fast he has the worst base stealing instincts i have ever seen in a leadoff hitter! I mean this guy is LOST out there when he does get on he finds a way to get out! He simply doesn't have the skills to be an everyday major leaguer... Amezega should get the job over him for crying out loud!!! Gload should be starting over him, Helms should be starting over him! My grand mother who's dead should be starting over him! Get the point? He is terrible...

It makes perfect sense in two aspects. Vs Uggla, one is a fringe prospect who's been projected to be a bench player and the other is a two time Major League All-Star. Vs Coghlan, it makes a bit less sense, but at least Coghlan has been projected to be a major league starter. Plus he hasn't been here as long. Take it a bit longer and it will be the same thing. Good post... I agree 100%

Giants Inquire on Uggla
I say we send them Hermida, Bonifacio, Pinto, and Lindstrom for Cain and Lincecum. Finally Bonifacio would be good for something! LOL At least as an added body in a trade! I would do this trade in a heart beat.

Hate for Bonifacio/Love for Uggla and Coghlan
Bonifacio has legit talent. He's just lost his confidence right now and needs to be taken out of that leadoff spot. Throw him at the 8 spot or send him down to AAA for a few weeks and let him gain his confidence back or he's going to struggle all season. I don't see him as being any different than Uggla or Coghlan at the moment. How can he be a legit talent when he has NEVER produced in the minors numbers worthy of being an everyday major leaguer... His talents start, and end with his speed, and what good is speed when you can't hit, and when you do you get thrown out cus your base running skills suck. Uggla every year starts slow, and usually picks it up after May... Ross is about the same kind of hitter so im not worried about them at all. As for as Hermida well he is what he is... But Bonifraudio shouldn't be playing on anyones roster. And Uggla, and Ross are at least productive while they aren't on fire! I mean they at least drive some runs in, and get some clutch hits, and hit home runs which produces numbers for the club. Bonifraudio does nothing but strike out, get thrown out while looking lost standing at first, and boot balls at 3b. (Thought he was supposed to be a defensive upgrade? LIES!!)

ERRORS, ERRORS, ERRORS
it was error that got game untie and got rays going this team(marlins) cannot get error play fix Say what now? Sorry I don't speak freaky deaky dutch.... We know. From what I've read of your posts, B*llshit appears to be your natural tongue. If you actually paid attention and read posts instead of ripping into Bonifacio EVERY SINGLE FREAKING POST you'd know miamibaseball's first language is not English. Yeah well your as big a loser as the clown in your sig...

Miami Herald: Loria wants changes?
I'll be psyched if we trade Uggla for Cain and a propect or cash. Cantu whoever should be much more valuable. If we do not trade them however we should definatley mix up the lineup Hanley SS Baker C Cantu 1B Uggla 2B Hermida LF Cody CF Coghlan 3B Bonerface RF Coghlan is struggling in the OF and Bonerface has difficultys at 3rd so put Cogs back at his original position How about no on Bonerface to RF! He belongs on the bench or in AAA... He is not a major leaguer! I like the rest of the line up except I would call up Raynor or one of our OF prospects who actually play the OF. Like De Aza, and play him in CF, and Ross in RF. Oh, and.... That is F'in hilarious!!!! HAAHAHHAHA!
